Dennis Hollingworth

Dennis Hollingworth of Stockport-based Hollingworth Heating Ltd was announced as the UK’s Best Heating Installer 2016.

Dennis was selected as the regional winner for the North after wowing judges with examples of exceptional professionalism, happy customers and instances of going above and beyond the call of duty. He then went on to take the inaugural crown for the competition live on stage at Installer2016, after winning the public vote.

Chris Ingram founded and launched Continental Underfloor 15 years ago from a small office in Launceston, Cornwall.

The business has gone from strength to strength and is now a leading supplier within the UK heating and plumbing sector, having won several prestigious awards, highlighting its investment into the technology of underfloor heating. Chris is delighted to be recognising the hard work that heating installers carry out day in, day out, across the country and celebrating their success.

Bjorn Sejr Nielsen

Bjorn Sejr Nielsen is the Marketing Director for Danfoss in the UK who he joined in 1982.

He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aarhus in Denmark and followed a post graduate course at the Engineering Department at Cambridge University in 1990/1991.

Having headed up the Marketing Department in the UK for 11 years now, Bjorn has a very good understanding of the UK heating industry and a wealth of knowledge on heating controls.

Samantha Canfield has been Marketing Manager of Graham The Plumbers’ Merchant for two years.

Previously she was with Saint-Gobain for nearly ten years, where she held positions in Commercial and Procurement areas. Sam has worked in the building construction industry for the past twelve years.

Mark McGettigan

Mark has been editor at Installer Magazine for six years.

Installer Magazine is the leading plumbing and heating trade publication in the UK and has been at the forefront of the sector for 20 years. In judging the awards, Mark is most looking forward to seeing a high standard of entries which demonstrate the lengths tradesmen in this industry go to, to a deliver an outstanding service.

Kamlesh Vadukul has been Heating Solutions Sales Manager (UK & I) at LG Electronics since 2014.

Having worked within Product Management roles for 4 years at Daikin and 6 months with Rotex Heating Systems in Germany, coupled with an MSc in Sustainable Energy from Cardiff University, a BEng (Hons) in Environmental Engineering from the University of Nottingham and with professional Marketing qualifications from CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing), Kamlesh is perfectly placed to support LG’s ambitious growth plans in the Renewable Heating Sector.

Glenn has worked for Pegler Yorkshire for 15 years as a Senior Technical Support Engineer.

Previously working at Kingspan Environmental for 10 years as an Area Sales Manager. Glenn’s current role includes staff training, training external companies including installers, merchants, architects and specifiers, training students at building colleges and issuing training cards and certificates. Glenn judged HIP Magazine national apprentice of the year competition.

Neil Davies is Trade Marketing Director at Sentinel Performance Solutions, leading provider of lifetime protection products for heating and hot water systems internationally.

With over 9 years’ experience within the plumbing and heating sector, Neil has delivered smart and differentiated marketing strategies resulting in brand supremacy across European and international markets.

With a background in B2C and B2B which spans 17 years, Neil has extensive experience of positioning and launching new products, rebrands and development of value propositions. At Sentinel, these include best practice training to service multiple stakeholders: from homeowner, to trade, to specification.

Steve has been with Vaillant Group for over 30 years, initially in various technical and product marketing roles leading to Research & Development Director for the Glow-worm brand in 2000.

As a Chartered Engineer, with subsequent roles in Product Marketing, Training and latterly Brand Marketing have led to his current role as Marketing and Technologies Director. In his current role, Steve oversees technical product development and marketing in all areas of the business including boilers, controls and renewables. As a trained engineer himself, Steve is looking forward to meeting the UK’s most talented installers whose technical knowledge and attention to detail are setting the bar high for industry standards.
