Samsung Climate Solutions has been confirmed as an official sponsor of the Heating Installer Awards 2025 as the competition returns to celebrate a decade of recognising the best installers in the UK.
The awards are completely free to enter and installers are encouraged to submit a case study of a project that demonstrates not only fantastic results, but clever product selection, great customer service, and technical expertise. There is a prize bundle worth over £10,000 on offer for the finalists, including money-can’t-buy prizes from the award’s sponsors.
Following the awards closing for entries, an expert judging panel will get together to mark the best entries from each region and specialist categories. The panel will include technical specialists including Samsung Climate Solution’s Heating Product Manager, Joe Raftery, and Air Conditioning Commercial Manager, Andrew Faulkner, as well as installers themselves and representatives from the independent professional body, CIPHE.
The marks from this process will determine the finalists from each region as well as the shortlists for each of the specialist categories. The overall winners will then be decided by a combination of judges’ scores, independently reviewed technical challenges and a public vote.

This year, Samsung hosted a number of the Heating Installer Awards ‘Legends’, which consisted of previous national winners, at its prestigious Central Europe office in Schipol, Amsterdam. The day included sessions from sponsors, as well as in-depth training from Samsung specialists in the afternoon, prior to a networking event in the evening in the city.

Following the Amsterdam event, previous winners and shortlisted installers will be invited to a number of in-person events including a kick-off event and a regional winner’s event to celebrate the top talent from each region of the UK.
Each of the regional winners will then have the chance to go on to be crowned the national Heating Installer Awards winner 2025, as well as special category winners:
- Rising Star – recognising the industry’s budding apprentices;
- Sustainable Installer (North, South & Midlands) – recognising those who are doing everything they can to minimise the impact of their work on the environment and;
- HVAC Installer – recognising those who are installing full home comfort systems that heat and cool their customer’s homes, as well as improve ventilation and air quality.
The overall winner will be announced at Installer Show 2025, held in the Birmingham NEC, where 2024 champion, Nick Irlam, will award the next national winner.
