Today the 2025 winners of the Heating Installer Awards met at London Heathrow to begin an exciting three-night trip to Danfoss’ global headquarters in Denmark.
This special trip is part of the recognition that comes with winning the Heating Installer Awards, giving installers the opportunity to connect with leading manufacturers, learn about future heating technologies and spend time with fellow industry professionals.
Joining the winners on the trip are members of the Heating Installer Awards’ Board of Trustees – Huw Jenkins, Phil Metcalf and Karen Matthews – alongside Joe Sharpe from Installer, Jerry Whiteley from CIPHE, and our host for the visit, Gareth Ash from Danfoss.

Over the next three days the group will learn about Danfoss, from its early days to how it is one of the world leaders it is today.
First stop is Danfoss’ Silkeborg factory where the group will take a tour of the TRV factory then hear from our sponsors. They will then travel over to Sønderborg where they will be treated to a tour of Danfoss House, then nip over to Nordborg for a smart store ADC tour, a decarbonisation tour, museum tour and a trip to the office of the founder of Danfoss!
Trips like this are made possible thanks to the generous support of Danfoss, a long-standing sponsor of the Heating Installer Awards.
Even better, the winners of the Heating Installer Awards 2026 will also be invited on this incredible trip next year.
Follow our social media channels and the hashtag #HIAonTour to keep up with the group’s journey.
And if you’ve completed a domestic heating project you’re proud of, there is still time to enter.
Entries close in just 24 hours – submit your project today and you could be joining us on next year’s winner’s trip.
