Entries for the Heating Installer Awards 2026 are open, and installers from right across the UK have already been submitting their best work. If you’ve completed a stand-out project in the past year – whether it’s a system upgrade, a low-carbon install, an integrated HVAC system or exceptional apprentice work – now is a great time to enter. It’s free, quick, and every entry is reviewed by an independent judging panel.
What the judges are looking for
The judges are looking for the installers who have used experience, training and knowledge to problem solve projects, arriving at the best solution for their customer. The judges will be looking for:
- Strong technical understanding
- Quality system design and layout, explaining decisions made
- Clever solutions delivered on a real-world budget
- Clear attention to detail
- How challenges were overcome
- Great customer service and aftercare
- Smart use of low-carbon and renewables technologies
- Apprentice learning, development and hands-on application
Your project doesn’t need to be the biggest – it needs to be thoughtful, well-executed and clearly explained.
Categories you can enter
There is a category for every type of heating installer:
Regional Awards – a winner from one of 11 UK regions.
Rising Star – for apprentices and students aged 16+, showcasing confidence, progression and applied learning on real jobs.
Renewables Installer – for projects built with low-carbon, efficiency and the UK’s journey to net zero in mind.
HVAC Installer – recognising complete comfort, airflow and efficient systems that bring multiple components together effectively.
All entries are free and take only a few minutes to submit.
