This year marks the 11th year of the Heating Installer Awards, and once again the awards launch with support from the professional body for the UK plumbing and heating industry on board as a key partner.
The Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering’s (The CIPHE) role in the awards is crucial: the organisation is involved at every stage of the judging process, from judging the case studies to setting and scoring the technical challenge undertaken by each finalist. It is, in part, due to this this impartial support that the awards continue to thrive and grow in popularity year-on-year.

Tim Sainty, Membership Director at The CIPHE comments: “As the Heating Installer Awards enters Year 11, the awards continue to be known as the one that all installers want to win. We take an extremely active role in the awards, and quite right too.
“As the industry’s only Professional Body, we wear many hats; we talk to Government about policy that will affect our members, and we’re also here to support and represent the hundreds of thousands of plumbers and heating installers across the UK too. Ensuring a fair judging process that truly uncovers the best-of-the-best is a role we take seriously and one which we’re delighted to be able to support again this year.”
Founded in 1906, the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering was set up to raise professional standards within the industry, provide technical support to installers and manufacturers, and protect consumers. Its membership is made up of individual installers, practitioners, consultants, specifiers, designers, public health engineers, lecturers, trainers and trainees.
The awards will open for entries in October 2026, but installers can sign up early by clicking here, and a member of the team will be in contact in early October to assist with each early bird entry.
The winners will be announced at the 2026 InstallerSHOW in Birmingham.
Tim continues: “The next 12 months will be extremely busy for us. We are hosting the World Plumbing Conference alongside InstallerSHOW 2026, and lots of meetings are taking place already to ensure it is a resounding success. Anyone wishing to find out more can contact us and we’ll be happy to help.”
Entry to the Heating Installer Awards is free of charge as the awards are solely funded through sponsorship, which is provided by the industry-leading brands that support the awards each year.
